D Y Patil International School is part of a global group of over 170 schools, universities and institutes. Catering for ages 3-18 the school follows the International Primary Curriculum, the International General Certificate of Secondary Education and is an International Baccalaureate World School offering the Diploma Programme.

Education is delivered predominantly in English although Dutch and French are also compulsory. The school emphasizes high achievement in a focused, caring and purposeful environment.
The new school building completed in August 2012 is state of the art, including a learning resource centre, technology enhanced classrooms, science labs, gymnasium, theatre, art and design studio, cafeteria, senior student area, as well as regular usage of exceptional sporting facilities and swim centre.
