Mijn naam is Bart Berckmans. Al heel mijn leven ben ik gepassioneerd door sport en beweging. In mijn jeugdjaren was ik vaak te vinden op een voetbalveld, zo heb ik o.a. de jeugdopleiding doorlopen bij Germinal Ekeren en R Antwerp FC. Later ben ik gestart met de opleiding kinesitherapie en daarna heb ik de specialisatie Master of Science in de manuele therapie en Sportkinesitherapie gevolgd aan de Vrije Universiteit Brussel. Dit verder aangevuld met verschillende cursussen zoals kinesiotaping, Mulligan concept, Redcord, dry needling, ... Na mijn studies ben ik gestart in de praktijk waar ik stage had gelopen en sinds 2008 ben ik werkzaam in een groepspraktijk in Nederland (van Zuilichem Zorg). Naast mijn werk in de praktijk heb ik nog verschillende sportclubs begeleid waaronder R Antwerp FC en hockeyclub Dragons. Verder heb ik nog stage gelopen bij HuddersField Town Football Club (UK). Uiteindelijk heb ik nu de stap gezet om mijn eigen praktijk te starten. Hier wil ik mijn ervaring en expertise gebruiken om mensen een persoonlijke, kwaliteitsvolle en wetenschappelijk onderbouwde behandeling aan te bieden. Naast mijn werk ben ik in mijn vrije tijd graag sportief bezig, zo speel ik nog steeds voetbal bij K Kalmthout SK en ga ik graag hardlopen, fietsen en golfen.
